Hidden Valley Clones also offers a ton of varieties through the growth and sale of plant clones. To clone cannabis, our gardeners identify a specimen with good characteristics. They then cut off a small portion and plant it in a new pot. The clone grows up to have the same genetic makeup as its parent, which means it has similar CBD and THC levels.
Through cloning, we currently offer over twenty Indica, Sativa, and hybrid strains.
An Indica strain is a specific form of cannabis which comes from a short, stubby plant that has high CBD and low THC levels. These create a feeling of intense calm within a user which some call “couch lock,” which means the person feels so relaxed they can’t get up from the furniture. A Sativa strain is pretty much the polar opposite of an Indica, which means it has low CBD and high THC levels. A Sativa strain comes from a tall, thin plant with narrow leaves. Most people use Sativa strains when they want to improve their focus and motivation since these strains do not have the same calming effect as Indica. We currently grow and sell three varieties: (CherryGasm, Durban Poison, and Sour Diesel).
Finally, there are hybrids. Hybrids are made by combining a Sativa and Indica strain to produce a new product. These cannabis strains can have varying CBD and THC levels without being an ‘extreme’ like a regular Indica or Sativa variety.
